Meditation part 2: A Homecoming in your True Nature

Updated: Apr 4

Sunlight flows through tall, dense trees in a forest and casts a warm, golden glow on the foliage and ground. Smaller trees and plants are visible and the scene is filled with autumn colors of orange, red and brown.

The one question that life asks is, “Come to me, be together with me.”

Meditation reconnects you with the true nature of your being, your true home, where you feel comfortable and whole, where love flows and your life force radiates. Some call this the self, others call it their essence or being. I like to call it my soul, but also my being, my inner core, my inner self, my interiority, my source, god, and so on, all names for what is most beautiful of what I essentially am. The Light of Being-Meditation is centered on the relationship with what is most beautiful, your soul. Meditation nourishes, deepens, and refines your relationship with your soul, your being, your inner self, your essence by inviting you to open yourself to it in an equitable, loving, and reverent way.

As you become more intimate with yourself and begin to develop a friendship with your soul, you become more attuned to the energy of your being. It connects you to a deeply wholesome flow of value that begins to spread to every cell in your body. This has a healing effect on you as a whole, as well as on what you do, and from there it affects everyone you come into contact with.

The openness that comes from meditating softens your habits, which makes you more receptive to the inner value you experience in the moments that you feel connected to your soul. The fulfillment that you experience as a result, answers your natural need and longing for your spiritual homecoming, to be at one with the loving radiance of what you essentially are. The beauty is that this quality is accessible to everyone, always and everywhere, making you intensely grateful and joyful.

Meditation guides you to establish a relationship with your soul, from your deep longing for the abundant and profound richness of its warmth of love, its embedding of peace and its light of consciousness that is present in your depths. How you experience these values will naturally influence all your thoughts, needs, emotions, longings, actions, and relationships, in short, your reality and how you experience and relate to it.

Meditation is therefore the open, free and loving consciousness that can guide you in your spiritual awakening like no other, making you feel luminous, warm and connected to your inner self. In her openness, you come into contact with the power of the unconditional being that is present in each of us, and from there, insights arise effortlessly. These insights naturally bring about essential changes that affect the way you live. When you are open to all the life that is within you and around you, your ever-watchful, ego-centered wanting naturally comes to rest. This gives you a completely different experience, it completely changes your awareness, it completely changes the way you experience your existence and life as a whole, of which you are now once again a glorious part.

Meditation nurtures the connection to your being, to your soul, to your essence, so that you can be nourished from its depth. When you are open to this spiritual source, being becomes the universal womb of all existence, accessible as a universal gift given to you at birth. The whole of creation emanates from this mother’s womb, from this being, from this life source, and its energy is ever present in and behind everything.
